Meet our M-Series drills, the MARL MTXD.
Designed for off-road use, this drill features a 4-speed rotary drill head with rotary, auger and coring capability, for great versatility. Feature-rich for maximum productivity, the MTXD comes with multiple features to maximize your drill crew’s efficiency and convenience, including:
- on board tooling / rod storage
- stainless steel toolbox
- on-deck water tank.
As pictured, this drill is mounted on a 4×4 truck with an onboard tire pressure control system for difficult/ muddy all-terrain access. Can be mounted on tracks or carrier of your choice
The components used in the state-of-the-art control panel holds a minimum IP67 environmental rating which means they are protected from dust and water ingress. The panel can withstand rainy conditions and pressure washing.
Components are also rated for temperature ranges -40 C to +70 C (-40 F to +158 F). The carbon-fibre construction only weighs 35 pounds. Designed to be operator-friendly, the control panel has ergonomics built in and multiple mounting options. A rugged tripod can be used and adjusted to fit the driller’s height. Well-spaced controls allow for easy operation while wearing gloves.
Dual break-out clamps accommodate up to 11″ tooling and can pivot off-hole for even larger diameter tooling. The MTXD also has CPT push capacity, up to 12 tons, with programmable push rates. The MARL eSPT short-stroke package is available.
